Alright, readers and romantics, it's that time again! I'm pleased to introduce you all to Ms. Sarah-Grace Grzy, an author, designer, and fellow coffee addict!

In this interview, Sarah-Grace and I talked on topics such as her relatable yet memorable book characters, her sheepish love for Hallmark movies, and her relationship with Jesus!

Sarah-Grace is a stunning entrepreneur, but beyond that, she's a stellar human being who loves God and others. I hope you enjoy our conversation, and that you would consider buying her work in the near future! (I mean, clean romance, faith, and heartfelt plots? Does it get any better than that?)

I hope you'll stay tuned until the end of this amazing interview, because we've got a GIVEAWAY coming your way! :D

It’s no secret that you’re in love with Jesus. What are three words that automatically come to mind when you think of Him?

Grace. Love. Sovereign.

When did you fall in love with the written word, and at what moment did you realize that your words had the ability to bless others?

I think I've always loved the written word. As a little girl, I loved reading. I still remember when I read my first chapter book (Socks, by Beverly Clearly!) and my family cheered for me when I finished and gave me dollar bills to celebrate. (Ahhh, memories!) Since then I haven't stopped reading. And a couple of years ago when I decided to try my hand at writing my own stories, I had no idea how God would use those words I hand wrote in a spiral bound notebook.

You seem to be drawn toward adult fiction as compared to young adult books, both in preference to reading and writing, despite being on the younger side the literature-lover spectrum. What is it about adult novels that attracts you to them, as opposed to young adult fiction?

I don't know why this is, just that it is! I feel like I skipped straight from MG to adult fiction, and left YA in the dust. I think I was frustrated by how little great YA books there were and how hard they were to find. When it comes to the Christian fiction genre, it's massive and there's so much to choose from. But I struggled to find many YA books I truly loved. I was frustrated with the shallow plot lines and characters and the teen romances quite frankly drove me crazy! As a teen with no interest in romance at the time, I just found it hard to relate to the romantic drama of my fictional peers, if that makes any sense. Long answer, sorry, lol!

I’ve read both your books, "Live Without You" and "Never Say Goodbye," and I loved both female leads, Piper and Alyvia! Which of the two characters do you relate to more and why?

Thank you so much! I'm happy to hear that. Both of these characters have so much of me in them, it's hard to say! But I think the answer is Alyvia. We both love people and building relationships, and we're both learning who God created us to be and what our place is in this world. And we share a love for everything bookish, twinkle lights, little kiddos, and messy buns.

Ezra Bryant and Tyler Collens, the male protagonists of your novels "Live Without You" and "Never Say Goodbye," are paramedic partners. Why did you decide to make your two male leads work within the medical field? What’s your interest in that?

I have always had a huge interest in the medical field, and actually do work in healthcare now! (through a strange turn of events, but that's another story!) I read every first aid and EMT textbook my library could provide when I was in high school. Becoming a paramedic is sort of a dream career for me in that it's something I've always thought about and think I would love doing, but it's not something practical I plan to pursue. (At this time, lol) So that's what I made Ezra. And Tyler was only ever supposed to be the secondary character to Ezra, but then he ended up getting his own book. I've enjoyed exploring the career through both of these very different characters.

I’ve seen that you’re quite the Hallmark fan. If both your books were made into Hallmark movies, who would play your leading roles? Do you have a dream cast or would you choose new faces to play the parts?

Yes, I'm a bit of a sheepish Hallmark fan. It's hard to find clean movies these days, okay? I love this question though! I would love Wyatt Nash to play Tyler Collens. He's been my visual inspiration for the character all along! Emilie Ullerup is one of my favorite actresses and would play Alyvia so well I think! A younger Kavan Smith would be a great Ezra, although I'm blanking on who would play Piper! Any suggestions? Ooh, maybe Laci J Mailey! I could also see her playing a great Alyvia too though.

If you could choose ONE of your characters to have coffee with, who would you pick and why?

Ezra! I think he has some good wisdom he could share and I think we would enjoy just talking!

Speaking of coffee, here’s the question of the century...why do you love coffee? When did you first fall head-over-heels for the drink?

Great questions, lol! My fam teases me about loving coffee for the energy buzz, but the truth is I actually love it for the flavor and the experience. I usually drink at least half decaf because my body isn't a fan of too much caffeine! I'm not sure when I first started drinking it. I remember drinking something called teeccino when I was younger. It's an herbal tea that tastes similar to coffee and can be brewed the same way. It was a Sunday morning treat for me and my dad even let me use his milk frother and hazelnut syrup on occasion to make it extra special! (Wow, this is bringing back fun memories.) At some point, I started drinking actual coffee, possibly motivated to simply "be cool" like my mom and others who drank it, haha. But it stuck with me and I love it now!

In your instagram bio, it says that you're obsessed with aesthetics, and your stunning feed definitely gives off that impression. If your personality was an aesthetic, what would it be? Describe it!

Oh my word, this is such a cool but hard question! Can I just link my personal Pinterest aesthetic board? Okay, just gonna throw out some words . . . coffee, stars, blush, wood tones, twinkle lights, plants, books, coffee shop, messy buns, pastel colors, thick sweaters, teal, and clean & bright.

If you and your life were turned into a fictional novel, what author do you believe would do your story justice?

Okay, this is so good. First one that came to my head is Jan Karon. I think Jan Karon could take my rather normal and probably mundane life and pull out the beauty in it and make it a lovely, enjoyable read of the life of a simple, wholehearted girl.
