A Princessy Short Story

Here is my short story (first attempt). I hope you all enjoy it! :)
Rapunzel, Belle, and Tiana opened the back gate and were met with quite a sight. The back streets were bustling with employees. Everyone was in a rush moving back and forth, each trying to get where they needed to be on time.
“Umm, girls, I don’t think we are supposed to be back here,” Tiana stated skeptically.
Rapunzel just laughed, “Oh, Tiana, where is your sense of adventure? Come on let’s see what we find.” She rushed forward into the crowd of people leaving Belle and Tiana at the gate.
“We can’t let her go alone,” Belle turned to look at Tiana.
“You’re right. I don’t know about you, though, but after what I’ve been through this is my last adventure,” Tiana replied and the two girls followed after Rapunzel.
Belle and Tiana pushed their way through the herd of employees. It was difficult to get around them all; they had a rhythm about them that the two just couldn’t follow.
“Where is Rapunzel?” Tiana asked.
“I don’t know, but we need to find her quick before somebody sees us back here.” Belle answered nervously. “Wait…look! There she is in front of that door!”
They found an opening through the crowd that led straight to Rapunzel and ran through.
“Look! The Kitchen!” Rapunzel excitedly exclaimed.
“Rapunzel, no! We have to go back. We are going to get in trouble; look around somebody is bound to notice us.” Tiana tried to pull Rapunzel back from the door.
“It’s the kitchen; do you know all the different kinds of snack they are going to have in there? Pretzels, funnel cakes, churros, corn dogs, pineapple.” Rapunzel looked back and forth between the two. The look on Belle’s faced proved that she had won her over.
“Tiannnaa! Come on! You know what else they will have….beignets!”
Tiana could not hold back her smile. “Okay, let’s do it!”
The three girls stepped back and Rapunzel threw open the door. They were met with the most wonderful sights and smells. They looked at each other and dove in.
