I'm a Dreamer! :)

Loved, loved, loved this lesson Livy!
I have to completely agree that the church doesn't stress the importance of dreams and pursuing those dreams. I think it is so important to dream because God has created us for so many great things!
I get asked very frequently what I want to do with my life and what career I want. I want to answer that there is no specific title for my dreams but all I know is that I want to use my talents for God. You mentioned about the pressures that come with trying to figure out your dreams! Loved your advice and it truly spoke to me!

10 years from now my dreams are to:
To be apart or start a ministry for young people.
To publish a fictional book and motivational book!
To be a motivational speaker or teacher!
To travel! (more specifically to Disney World, Europe, Hawaii, and much more!)
To have gone on a mission trip!
To design and draw!

This lesson has really motivated me to pursue my dreams and not settle for anything less!

Beautiful dreams!
I'm absolutely loving the fact that you want to go to Disney World! Haha, I so desire to take a Crown of Beauty Team Retreat there! Let's go! :D

I would encourage you to take your list, and go one step even further.
Grab a notebook, and copy down your list of dreams, then beside each dream, write down one practical action step that you can take toward seeing these things come to pass.

So for example, ask yourself, "Okay, what am I going to do to become the best possible author I can be?" That step might be working on your current novel, doing a blog post, thinking up ways/doing research on how to gain a following, or just free writing for fun. Getting a good following now, so that when it comes time to publish, you've got a huge audience.

Do this with every item on your list. If you can't think of something for a certain goal write PRAY next to it, and just bathe it in prayer.

When you're finished, you can spend the next weeks and months going over your list, doing the steps, as quickly or as slowly as you want...switching up the steps, and doing new things here and there, to pursue those goals.
You will be taking steps forward! And perhaps the most powerful thing is praying over these dreams everyday and speaking life over them! :)

P.S. It's so cool that you're connected with Crown of Beauty now..who knows, maybe one day you will speak & teach at a Crown of Beauty conference?! :)
